Clock Tower Donation Fund

Restoration Project
The Grand Traverse County Board of Commissioners' Historical Courthouse Clock Tower Fund has been increased to include restoring the clock mechanisms and facing of the clocks along with restoration of the chimes. The clock tower chimes have been restored and are in working order.

Making a Donation
Any donation will be used for the sole purpose of restoring the mechanisms and facing of the clocks on all 4 sides of the tower. Donations will be accepted up to the projected cost of $40,557 and any additional received will be used for maintenance..
Amount Donated as of Today's Date
Tax Deductible
Donations to Grand Traverse County are deductible for federal income tax purposes under Internal Revenue Code Section 170 (c) (1). In general, contributions to Grand Traverse County are deductible when used for public purposes such as the clock tower.

Check Payments
If you are interested in donating to to the clock tower fund, you can bring a payment to the Treasurer's Office or mail your payment to Grand Traverse County Treasurer at:

Make sure to make a note on the check that the payment is for the clock tower fund and we will mail you a receipt for your records.
