3rd Annual RecycleSmart Earth Day Event

Presented by Grand Traverse County, in cooperation with Grand Traverse County Parks and Recreation

When: Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 11:00 am - 3:00 pm - RAIN or SHINE - Come celebrate with us!
Where: Civic Center, Traverse City (Civic Center is located at 1213 W Civic Center Dr, Traverse City.)
What: This is a free, fun, family event to raise environmental awareness. Learn from our Earth Day Partners about recycling, composting, water protection, invasive species, energy conservation and more!

The fun starts at 11:00 a.m. and includes a scavenger hunt with prize drawings, fire brush truck, make-and-take eco crafts and the following special presentations: 

Live raptor program from Wings of Wonder

Smokey Bear & Woodsy Owl - Meet & Greet, Photo Op

Food Trucks 

Stories and Music from the "Alaskan Troubadour" Susan Grace

American Waste Recycling Truck

Campfire Safety Demonstration - MDNR and US Forest Service
